God’s Dwelling Place
"The Spirit is manifesting Himself inside of us and outside of us. He’s among us and upon us."

After you watch the video and read the study notes on this page, answer these questions here on the Blog mentioned above:
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:1 KJV
DISCUSSION:
Most of the prophets, according to scripture, had visions of the throne room. We know where God dwells, and we can glean from all the prophets who saw that. In Psalm 91, we see that Moses encountered God walking by him in the cleft of the rock. He called it the secret place. God walked by and he beheld the power, the glory, and the presence of God so strongly. Moses wrote Psalms 91 because of that experience.
The Lord has a dwelling place. He is the Most High God, but He dwells with the meek and the humble, and the contrite, in Spirit (Isaiah 57:15).
Psalm 91:9-10 TPT:
When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us?
I want us to meditate on this verse. I meditate on it all the time, and I'm constantly sensing a transformation in my life because of it. Psalms 91 is something that I have never neglected in my life. I'm consciously dwelling there in my mind, and in my heart. I think you should consider writing out different portions of Psalm 91, on note cards and have them available to refer to during the day. Begin verse by verse and work your way through Psalm 91. I did it for years until it became so apparent to me. God began to work in my life in a really strong way. The secret to ministry and your relationship with God on the earth is allowing Psalm 91 to become a reality in your life. It shouldn't take years for you to come to an understanding of what Psalm 91 talks about. For some reason, we're slow to develop in these areas because I think it sounds too good to be true. I'm here to tell you it doesn't have to take you more than a few weeks to grasp it if you take one or two verses at a time
LIVING IN THE SHADOW OF THE MOST HIGH
Moses is saying in Psalm 91 that if he was going to see God's glory, he was going to have to be hidden in that rock. The cleft was like an opening in between the rocks where he could hide so that he could be shielded. Even after Moses got in there and God walked by, He put his hand over Moses so that he couldn't see His face and then took it off as He passed by so Moses could only see His back parts. There are two things going on here. There's a shadow being cast only because God put him in the cleft of the rock. It's dark in there, and like a cave, as you go into it.
When the Lord passed by the brightness of His glory pierced through the cave and because there were rocks, it cast a shadow. With God, there are no shadows. There is no less bright or brighter with God. It’s all bright. The idea is that the shadow of the Most High God was this place that God tucked Moses into. It created a little bit of a shadow, and that was just so Moses could handle it. The idea down here, is you're in a dark world, or dark cave and God is coming to visit you or manifest Himself to you. He's going to seem so bright in comparison to what you're going through.
A cave is known as a place you go into and you're trapped, or you have to come out the same way you came in. You can look at it that way, but in this chapter, God is showing us, that He is awesome and powerful, and when He shows up, you are fully protected. There's a dwelling, a secret hiding place. It's the idea of being tucked in a hiding place. This is where you need to dwell every day, and what has God created for you.
There has to be a secret place where you can go where you can give God your time to meditate on Him and let Him visit with you. It says in Psalm 91, that this place is a spiritual place, but it could be a physical place like a prayer closet or a place you can go, but it says that you're shielded from harm.
The question he asks about how evil could prevail has to do with Moses being in discovery mode when this happened. He realizes in this place no evil can prevail against him.
Moses says this because he had the revelation of being tucked in the secret place, as God was walking by. He realized that no evil spirit that could operate in this power, and in this glory that's walking by right now. There is no evil in the cleft. There's no evil in him. There's no evil that can operate. The revelation came to him, and he's writing about it. There is a place because Moses encountered it, and he endured it because he was changed.
He had the revelation just like you're going to have, that evil spirits can't operate when you're in the secret place of the Most High. He realized that he couldn't get sick in this glory, and there's no way that any disease could infect him in this glory. This is the revelation that we all need to have. The same power, the same glory that rose Jesus from the dead was what walked by in the entrance of that cave. God walked by with all the power that rose Jesus from the dead.
Paul the Apostle said that the same power that rose Jesus from the dead is also dwelling in us. It says that power will quicken our mortal body. Quicken means to be energized and activated by the power that rose Jesus from the dead. That power has the ability to kill disease and cause us to not get sick and also causes evil spirits to not be able to bother us. It's up to us to yield more.
We need to concentrate more on Christ in us and where we dwell. We physically live in a location, but spiritually, we need to concentrate on what God has given us through Jesus Christ. What are the benefits of being a partaker?
Peter said in 2 Peter 1:4, that we're partakers of the divine nature, and it means that we have what God has. We're heirs of God and coheirs with Jesus Christ, Part of that includes healing, but it goes a step further than that, it includes supernatural health. God doesn't get sick, and God's not poor. He has the ability to proclaim something and it will appear. That’s because He has the power to speak it into existence. Jesus said we can speak to mountains and they'd be removed. We also have a blood covenant, and in that covenant, we have the healing process that can happen instantaneously through a miracle, or it could be a process to our healing.
What about staying healthy? There is such a thing as divine health. The power of the Holy Spirit causes us to not only be healed but to stay healed and then to be healthy. Moses didn't get sick, he lived to be 120 years, and he didn't have anything wrong with him when he died. He died because the Lord said, it was time for him to come be with Him. He went and was with the Lord. The Bible says that he was still strong.
That's the divine power of God, and that's partaking in the divine nature.
Talk about divine health and partaking in the divine nature.
Talk about how God is not poor and He wants you to prosper.
GOD DWELLS IN AND AMONG US
2 Corinthians 6:16 NKJV:
And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.”
Here, in the New Testament, Paul is talking to the Corinthians and saying, that we are the temple, and we are the dwelling place of the living God. God is saying, “I will dwell in them and walk among them.”
Two things are happening here. You have the indwelling of God, and you have God walking with them, among them. There's the outside and the inside. Here, Jesus was present in the house where they lowered the friend down through the ceiling in order to get him healed. When they lowered him down, it says that Jesus was in that house already before they did that. Then it says that the power of God was present to heal. You have the power of God, present to heal the sick, and then it says you have Jesus.
Two separate things are happening there.
The power of God is dwelling in you, and the power of God is dwelling among you. There's the temple, which is all of us as a corporate body, and then there are our individual bodies that are the temple of the Holy Spirit as well. They are two different things. The Spirit is manifesting Himself inside of us and outside of us.
He’s among us and upon us.
We may not be aggressively pursuing God with our healing and with our relationship with Him. We may believe that God doesn't want us to be healed of our sickness. The truth is He wants us to stay healthy. It's the same thing with finances. Not only does He want us out of debt, but He wants to help us to help others get out of debt.
If you can focus on what Moses did when he had the revelation that no evil spirit can come near you in this glory, and there's no way that a disease could infect you in this glory, you’re going to see God come through. The most important thing I learned when I was in Heaven about my life was that we have the Holy Spirit down here, and He is so powerful. He is the person that rose Jesus from the dead, and He's dwelling in us, and we need to start concentrating on that.
PRAYER:
Father, I thank You for the spirit of wisdom and revelation and knowledge of You. I thank You, Lord, that the eyes of their hearts are enlightened. I pray Lord for all my friends, my fellowship friends all over the world, my warriors. That they would see, and they would hear what the Spirit is saying. That they would know the hope to which they have been called. That they would know the glorious inheritance that's in the saints. That they would know the power that rose Jesus from the dead. That they would be quickened in their mortal bodies right now, Lord. I thank You for delivering them. I thank You for speaking to them and visiting them in their homes.
Father, thank You so much. In Jesus' name' Amen.
